Hi! My name is Adrian and I am an undergraduate student pursuing a degree in Virtual Interaction and Experience Design.


I come from a very multicultural background. Having been born in the United States and grew up in between France, Canada, Brazil, Peru, Colombia and the US. I'm fluent in English, French, Spanish and Portuguese (actually fluent). I've been able to experience and understand the similarities and differences between many many cultures and love thinking about the variety of people and personalities that I can design for.


My passion for visual art and design started at a young age and led me to study at Idyllwild Arts Academy for high school. There, I honed my skills and experimented with product design. Then, I pursued my undergraduate studies at Parsons Paris | The New School where I developed a deep appreciation for the transformative potential of good design.


I am excited about the challenges of the future, especially in facilitating change in the way humans interact with the digital and physical world. I am constantly fascinated by how design tools can modify, enhance and solve complex human experiences. I am eager to explore the possibilities and disruptions that the next few years will bring in the field of interaction design and the overall human experience.

When im not designing...


I direct VUSS a non-profit school that i co-founded dedicated to providing alternative lifestyles to the children of Rocinha through sport, both within and beyond the favela. Our aim is to help them escape the influence of drug traffickers. At present, we offer free surf lessons, as well as classes in math, English, and basic Portuguese literacy. Additionally, we provide the option of participating in art therapy and/or therapy to our students.

Filmmaking/Arts


I have extensive experience in the arts, having worked as a wood sculptor, ceramicist, and painter at Beaux Arts de Paris and for various artists in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. One of my other passions is creating furniture our of wood, my girlfriend and I have designed and built every single piece of furniture in our apartment. In addition to my work in the arts, I have also pursued filmmaking as a hobby and profession. I have worked as a documentary filmmaker for two seasons of ‘Onde o surfe me levou’ for Canal OFF, the largest sport and adventure television channel in Brazil.


Hiking/ Surfing


I have been an avid trail runner and hiker since a young age, regularly exploring mountains at altitudes of up to 5.5k meters. As part of my training, I have repeatedly run up 500M mountains. (picture of my friend and i summiting a mounting in northern Peru) Alongside my passion for hiking and running, I have also been an enthusiastic surfer since childhood. Throughout my teenage years, I spent countless hours in the water, surfing almost every day. (picture of myself surfing on the bottom)
